So I don’t know if y’all heard but Dashboard Cancelled the rest of the tour. Our last show is November 7th in Sauget Illinois with title fight and fallen from the sky. We don’t know the details as to why. Just send out the good vibes to them people. In other really awesome news…NEW FOUND GLORY 10 year anniversary of SELF TITLED TOUR!!! With special guests SAVES THE DAY and other awesome bands you will be psyched on. Dates to come. Early early 2010!! Very excited I could almost puke!!!

Tonight I went to see law abiding citizen. I will admit. It was good. Violent as all hell, kept me on the edge of my seat, good story etc. For some reason I still walked out kind of bummed. As soon as the movie was over I called my wife immediately just to tell her I love her. how fucking bummed I would be if anything would happen to her, and how I feel bad sometimes that I’m not there. She’s not a weak woman in the least bit, but as we were talking, we began to realize how fragile we are and how fragile this life is. It’s scary sometimes. I think that’s why I can’t sleep at night. These thoughts are good though. It’s good to be reminded. Even if it is by a dumb movie. It’s good to be reminded to not take this life for granted. I told her over the phone how i dont want to die young and get my brains shot out by my cellphone(if u saw the movie youll know what im talking about) and sometimes I wish I could just stay in our house and never come out. Humans scare the crap out of me sometimes. There are a lot of sketchy people in this world. She then said “ya, you might be living..but you won’t be alive” she’s smart. I like that. Anyway, I just needed to get this down on screen. It’s 4 am and I’m in my bunk listening to halo battles going on in the front and back lounges of the bus. This is not meant to be a downer in the least. It’s more of a realization. It’s good. Some really great friends made a painting for me and my wife once, and on it it said “draw circles around the ones you love. Not hearts. Because hearts are meant to be broken and circles never end.”

Ok here’s the thing, all I do is play video games. Twitter just took over my life. I’m sorry tumblr. I really miss you. I forgot how to blog on you, and make sweet and tender blogs on you and kiss you and hug you and make you my very own. I will try to make it up to you by taking you out on a nice date at the sizzler. Oh wait, but then i cant get to know you because youll have a mouthful of food. Oh wait..youre vegan? Nevermind. Ok really, I have been on the road since my last blog and before my blog before that I was home livin it up, Oside style with my boo and my boomer for like 2 months. Ya feel me? Technology. I like it. But sometimes it’s nice to let go. Let go people! Leave the cell phone and the sidekicks home for one day and go on a hike or something. Guilty! Now I’m on the bus getting emo with steve klein jammin to the don’t forget to breathe compilation from 97. On tour until December 18th with Dashboard. Hey there tumblrtowne. I have been failing with my blog. Too much snacking. Er slacking. Well actually my confession is that Twitter has taken over my bones. Like adamantium. But like not really like adamantium. I want everyone to get off the computer now and go buy the new frank turner record AND there is a new freakin Shudder to Think record coming out called live from home. Crazy. Ahhh memories….”snowbirds and townies” by Further seems Forever. I love this song. This is from the album the moon is down when chris carrabba sang for them. i can relate completely to this song. it brings me back to the days when we all still lived in florida. i would go to chris’s house in pompano, which then was then called the “vacant andys” house , that was his old band and they all lived together….id go there to hang and drink beers before i was 21 and listen to all sorts of great music. nfg’s first tour EVER was with vacant andys. this is also a really good make out song. i reccomend this album and any other FSF record for that matter.

that title means im excited! i am hangn at heathrow for the next 3 hours before my first flight home even begins. 7 hours to JFK then a 2 hour layover then 6 hours to SD. Im just going to put in my headphones, drown everyone out and listen to the new bombay bicycle club record. its so good. so good. i liked their EPs but this full length is great! England was very good to us. thank you!!!! the shows and festivals were great! drinking s coffee now and internetting around. the guys in funeral for a friend are nice gentlemen, and abe from deftones is a good man too. hung with FOB dudes for a hot minute too. good to see some familiar faces at the fests. im glad to get back to the best place in the world with the best people in the world. Let the adventure begin.

anyway, we had a day today in newcastle. the sucky part is that i woke up at 215pm. i know i know, some people are thinking..must be nice..but i have been so tired and messed up from travel. i have been waking up early every other day though. but for some reason today not so much. maybe because its so dark in my bus hole. ha bus hole…not unlike butt hole…i did get to go to our favorite place by the venue called shake a holics…mmm mmm good….milkshakes…uhhhhhhhhh……the show was in the tiny room of a place called the academy. we usually play here but mostly in the big room. it was fun because we played lots of obscure stuff i think it totaled to about 25 songs. im dead. i cant breath and my throat feels like stretched out old arbys roast beef. we have glasgow tomorrow so i apologize ahead of time if i sing not so good…ahhh whateve…its all fun…well im getting kicked out of the dressing room now because its club night. its late and im sweaty and hungry. looks like its another kebab shop for dinner….bai bai. your pal,

KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES “give me what i want” this is the band thats on tour with us right now in the UK. they have toured with us here a few times. great guys. they are welsh. they like peace, love, hardcore, booze, stylish clothes and sheep. this album never came out in the states, but they are now on a label that will hopefully get them to the us. i think kids will dig them if they just get their asses over! i want nfg to bring them out to the us. this song is one of the more “pop rock” songs ala head automatica..but they have harder songs on the record

today was great. really. even after two months off the show still kicked azz…got to watch get up kids and hang with james(reggie) who i havent seen in a long time…he played keys for us for a whole butt load of tours…they played lots of old songs..OLD SONGS, like woodson e.p old. watched some of glasvegas, the drummer doesnt have a kick pedal and she stands up while she plays..still sounded awesemmmm…saw some of metrics set too. a little boring but it sounded great and i love their records. id be boring too if i had to wear a blue sequence dress and high heels. not like i wouldnt mind. vampire weekend sounded nice too. jesus lizard was great. david yow the singer is out of his mind. do yourself a favor and pick up their record LIAR, its one of my favorite records growing up. energetic and driving….off to london now. i heard the international superheroes of hardcore are playing with us…i also heard they were assholes….computers gonna die so im gonna smack it and tell it its a bad computer…BAD COMPUTER! youll never be as good as your older brother G5…..good night…my fingers will miss you

for reals! today is pukkelpop festival.. im here in belgium waiting to mosh it up for the kids….i hip with the lingo..the internets is finally working! lots of good band peoples here today…get up kids, kraftwerk, the jesus lizard, metric, vampire weekend, glasvegas, all here just for me….there are also lots of euro bands with dumb names here too…what the heck is a bloody beet root? haha! who knows, they are probably the most amazing band ever…who am i to judge…im just one guy.
